Alternatives to using a projector:

There are a few alternatives to using a Projector when you need to show a presentation. One option is to project laptop screen and an external display. Another is to use a touchscreen display, such as those found in laptops or tablets. You can also use a video kiosk or a large screen TV if you have one available.

How To Project An Image On The Wall With Your Smartphone

In addition to projecting an image on a wall, you can also use your smartphone as a projector. It is very simple and the best part is that it does not require any special equipment.

There are two ways of doing this:

1) Using the external hardware.

Use your smartphone as a light source, while holding it flat against a wall or glass surface. The rear camera of your phone will work in this scenario instead of projecting an image on the screen because you are not using any lenses to focus anything and use natural reflected sunlight rather than a projected laser beam.

You can now project images and words onto any flat surface with your phone. It is great for parties, classes, or presentations. Your friends could use their own devices as well which means that this option will double up as a multi-functional device too! Although it requires no external hardware, some free apps cannot be used effectively unless the screen size of the smartphone is 200×200 pixels or greater to ensure that the lettering will be legible. With a small app development skillset, you can make cool effects in your own unique way including lighting and shadow effects to impress friends at school! Are you using any one of these? The back camera on a smartphone is actually great for this purpose as it works brilliantly. You are free from buying or dealing with additional equipment too because there is no need for external light. Moreover, you can use your smartphone to record the video too which is a more useful file these days as people are flooding videos with additional effects and gimmicks rather than getting a real purpose out of it! It allows you to manually adjust the size as well but needs a more powerful phone with video recording capabilities too because it does not allow any image input directly. Replace this app for Projector Pro at least if your phone has support for Flash or Tango. Actually, I prefer using my main mobile handset instead of bugging my smartphone anyway. Using a phone to project text and pictures is as easy as a pop-up online note-taking page whereby people can chime in about the topic selected for the post etc. Where Skype does not work, I suppose!

Step 1) Use The Right Box And Mirror:

You’ll need a box that is not too big and has a mirror on the inside.

There are many boxes with mirrors, but you want one that has a small hole in the bottom of it.

A shoebox works perfectly. I’ve found a perfect fit in the wastepaper basket of my school office.

Alternatively, you can buy one from eBay or Amazon and reuse it for your media rain experience.

Step 2) Blackout The Interior For Better Image Quality:

To get a brighter image, you have to use more light.

You should make sure your phone is as far away from the projector as possible for the best results. As a rule of thumb, is you can always buy a case that suits your phone well so you can carry it without fastening it, that depends on the size of your box.

The interior should be as dark and no light should leak through at all! I have tried a lot of different methods but this one is my favorite right now because it does not just work for me, but also helps to keep dust off in case something lands with dust onto the pc… Technology does help us too much.

Step 3) Installing Your Lens Into The DIY Mobile Projector:

Now that you have the inside of your box lined with black matte paper, you’ll need to install a lens into the projector. You can buy an off-the-shelf lens for around $10-$15 or make one yourself out of a CD case and some tape.

In my case, I was able to find one made from CD cases on eBay for about $5 in Hong Kong that works like a charm! You could also create your own lens by drilling out parts of the cd box to get rid of its limitations at this point. The process requires patience because sandpaper is involved! Or you can go buy pre-made lenses online (could be done with precision tools as well).

Step 4) Design A Manual, Adjustable Focus For Your Phone Projector

The best part of this whole project is that you can adjust the focus manually. It makes it easier to use.

This means that the magnifying glass will not be able to reach a full-screen view on your phone, but it will still work since it will depend on the distance to your phone. You can always adjust that further with a larger lens at the back and optical convex lenses, or mirrors.

Step 5) Install The Mirror In The Cardboard Phone Projector:

Use a ruler to draw the outline of the mirror. Then, cut it out with scissors.

Cut out a rectangular piece of cardboard and then take off all the layers you see here.

Use a knife to cut off one corner at an angle and then bend the cardboard at an angle.

On a smaller phone (SIM card size), use one layer of black matte paper to prevent over-illumination and light reflection.

Step 6) Create A Window For The Phone:

Measure the screen of your phone below the projector’s mirror. Subtract the rectangle precisely.

Finally, hold phase 3 down firmly on the board with the hot glue gun. In one fell swoop, you’ve obtained your mobile projector.

The projector can be decorated with paint or other materials that give it a sheen.

Quality of the image

If you have a projector, you will be able to use the speakers in your room. If you are planning on buying a projector, look for one that has two stereo speakers built into it. The image quality of the sound is important if you want to use the phone to watch movies or play games.

The key that adds quality is a projector with stereo speakers built into it, so you don’t have to buy extra accessories if your smartphone has an audio jack and headphone port. A perk of this model over others is that you can put music in either ear because it actually creates two images for each speaker for optimum sound output. Other projectors enable users to only move sound out of one side.

How to project laptop screen to tv using HDMI?

To project laptop screen to television, connect the television’s HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your laptop. On the television, change the input source to “PC.” Once the PC screen is displayed, use your remote control to change the display format to “Portrait,” and then select “Laptop” from the list of devices. If you have run out of space on your desk, then it would be a good idea to invest in a projector. Projectors are perfect for offices because they can easily attach directly to the wall and do not need as much wiring. But chances are that if you have an HDTV, the best thing to do is ask your television manufacturer or electrical system application service center (ESAC) technician for a cable with MHL functionality on one end and HDMI functionality on the other. The advantage of such cables is they can charge your tablet or smartphone while using them as standard input devices without having any additional receiver units.

The MHL protocol is a high-speed technology that can transmit video and audio to the TV from pretty much any compatible device and MHL-to-HDMI cables work at 30fps which means the HD resolution on your tablet or smartphone will look great when run through this kind of cable right away without realizing it if you are interested in trying them out, just go down to your local electronic store’s ESD section some time ago and look for it.

Things you will need: + Some HDMI to Micro-HDMI cable, also called a Twisted pair or MHL adapter (search on Google) or take your video signal by way of an active USB 2 port and convert that into a signal suitable for TV through some kind of audio/video transmitter box. For distances up to 100m, there is no problem with the performance at quite a high level whether it’s over the air parallel transmission or via an active USB port (as long as the lighting conditions are ideal for clear HD video). In fact, over longer distances, you may have studio-grade enjoyability. + If your TV does not support MHL input, then just get some kind of HDMI to VGA converter like this one… obviously here we would have something more portable that you don’t need wires to connect with a charging system similar to mentioned previously assuming it can be done. Although MHL may be there on newer TV models such as 2013 Samsung’s and LG’s, it won’t offer more than some basic computer interface features like playing video or audio files directly from USB flash drives connected to the TV screens – they will not work through HDMI whether Dreambox MXP/HRi is used with a tablet inside along either of these two devices nor transfer HD free-to-air broadcasts via one device while viewing an SD program on another.
