COLOMBO, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said the electricity rates will be increased by approximately 18 percent starting from Friday.
These revised rates will remain in effect until June 30, 2024, according to the PUCSL.
The decision to raise tariffs came after the Ceylon Electricity Board requested the PUCSL to adjust Electricity Prices to offset the costs incur
