TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran defeated Kazakhstan 3-1 (25-15, 23-25, 25-20, and 25-19) in Pool E of the first edition of the Asian Men's U-16 Volleyball Championship on Wednesday.

The competition is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from July 22 to 29.
It serves as the Asian qualification tournament for next year's FIVB Volleyball Men's U-17 World Championship.
