MANILA, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- An offshore earthquake with a Magnitude of 5.7 rattled Davao Oriental province in the Southern Philippines on Monday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The institute said the quake, which occurred at 4:14 p.m. local time (0814 GMT), hit at a depth of 27 km, about 173 km southeast of Tarragona town.
The tremor was also felt in nearby Davao C
