Things to know about the wireless remote control for cranes:

The radio remote control is a wireless device that works remotely from a safe distance. The radio remote control works on the principle of radio waves technology. The radio waves come under the electromagnetic waves that vibrate at the frequency range of 10 kHz to 300 GHz.

The wireless device transmits the radio waves to control or to communicate with the end devices. The radio remote control requires two things to work such as transmitter and receiver. The transmitter is operated by a human being while the receiver is attached to the crane. The receiver has an antenna through which it receives the signal from the transmitter.

The crane remote control has different types like push buttons and joysticks radio remote. The push-button can also be subdivided into 8 buttons and 12 buttons. The joystick remote control doesn’t have buttons they use the sticks to control the crane remotely.

Radio remote control:

The electronic machines or heavy types of equipment instruments that can be can be controlled only with the help of one button is comes under the wireless technology. The wireless technology uses the radio waves frequency to control the machines remotely. This process is called radio remote control.

This wireless device is used for a time as well as a cost-saving purpose. This radio remote device can be used for industrial and construction sites to manage the machines or overhead cranes. The cranes have different types like a static crane or movable crane.

How overhead crane remote control systems works:

The crane remote control uses the transmitter and receiver for communication. The transmitter is a wireless small device that is used by the operator while the receiver has an antenna attached to the overhead crane.

The transmitter transmits the signal to the receiver in the encrypted form whenever the operator pushes the button on the transmitter device. After receiving the signal the receiver first decodes the data and converts it into the readable format.

After successful transmission of the signal, the receiver also transmits the signal to the transmitter as feedback. The transmission of signal in the middle of receiver and transmitter is more than ten times in a second. Through the command, the crane moves in specific directions like long travel, cross travel, and for the hoist.

The hopping frequency is used by the transmitter device while communicating with the receiver. This technique is used to avoid unwanted interference from the outside. The transmitter device observes a few things when sending the signal to the receiver such as the number of successful transmissions, lost packets, the signal quality, the number of errors that occurred, the communication gap, etc.

While communicating the overhead crane remote control systems adjusts the power automatically according to the distance. If the distance is less the wireless device consumes less energy. The transmitter performs well at a low battery also.

Features of EOT crane radio remote:

1) The 2.4 GHz frequency band used by the transmitter device for communication is globally used.

2) The hopping frequency technology used by the radio remote device for the continuous change of transmission and to avoid unwanted trespassers.

3) The transmitter device is highly customized and optimized for the user.

4) The communication happens in the middle of the receiver and transmitter is more than ten times in a second.

5) The transmitter device can range from ten meters to two hundred meters according to the signal.

6) The transmitter device is made in such a way that it can be protected from shock and corrosion.

7) The radio remote device works on wireless systems and hence it removes the need for wired cable systems.

8) The battery used in the transmitter device is long-lasting and can be used for a minimum of six months.

9) The transmitter device adjusts the power automatically according to the distance.

10) The data packet sent by the transmitter device is always in encrypted form.

11) After receiving the signal from the transmitter device the receiver also transmits the signal as an acknowledgment.

Conclusion:

The above points suggest that what should we keep in mind while using the radio remote control device. Although the radio remote device has some supremacy and pitfalls the wireless remote device is more used by the industrial sector as compared to the wired remote control systems.

Because of this, the manufacturing of the crane remote control device is happening rapidly. And the Anand Systems Engineering Private Limited is by far the top crane remote control manufacturers in India. The device is made in such a way that it can be used in harsh industrial conditions also.

The radio remote device is made according to the customer’s requirement. The transmitter device has many push buttons such as start, stop, left, right, forward, reverse, left, and right. The device has interlocked feature in a pair of buttons. To know the crane remote control price and specification in detail reach our official website.
