Logitech G502 Hero

On the top of our list sits the Logitech G502 Hero, one of the oldest mice on our list. The good part about this mouse is it’s been around four years since its first launch in the market, and Logitech has constantly kept updating this mouse according to the market standards.

The new Hero 25K processor can track at a max speed of 400 inches per second and a max acceleration of 40 Gs. This sensor also offers a max DPI of 25,600 DPI which, if you ask me, is not needed but is loved by the general public. It weighs only 121 grams, making it heavier as numerous ultra-light weighted mice are now flooding the industry.

Many gamers out there love to customize the weight of their mouse, which Logitech G502 takes good care of. You will get an additional 18 grams of weight that you can add to the mouse to the specific locations to make it weigh heavier.

The Logitech G502 Hero is very well built and has an angular design that not only gives a good look to the mouse but is also ergonomically designed, making it comfortable for long-hour usage. The mouse also has rubber grippings on the sides that make it feel premium and add a good amount of grip.

Now coming onto the performance aspect of the mouse, it has 12 programmable buttons that can easily be programmed using its compatible software. The Hero processor is a well-known sensor that offers excellent in-game performance.

The mouse has 12 buttons which you may think could be confusing, but believe me, they are very well placed and can be easily reached without any hassles.

One of the other cool highlights of the mouse is its scroll wheel. It has a metal scroll wheel that you can use in two different ways. With a single switch, it can become a freewheel and keep on scrolling freely. When you switch back, it becomes the old tactile scroll wheel that gives the tactile feel like any other scroll wheel. This quick switch really comes in handy within the gameplays.

The mouse uses the Logitech G-Hub as its compatible software and is one of the most refined software on the market right now. It has a huge amount of customization options and works flawlessly.

This mouse is surely one of the best gaming mice that have improved over time and have now evolved to a level that you can call the perfect mouse for gaming.

Cooler Master MM711

Cooler Master is not a new brand in the gaming industry and is quite established in the market now. They make a lot of gaming peripherals that most of the gamers out there use and trust. One such gaming essential is the Cooler Master MM711 that I have recently reviewed and believe me, it quickly became one of my favourite gaming mice I have used to date. For more info, please check our Cooler Master MM711 detail review.

The biggest highlight of this mouse is its weight. It’s not just light; it’s ultra-light and weighs 60 grams, which makes you addicted to it after a few gaming sessions. It has a honeycomb design over its body which is one of the reasons how the Cooler Master has managed to make it this lightweight.

Now coming on to the other highlights, this mouse uses the PixArt PMW3389 optical sensor, which sits in the top three positions of best optical gaming sensors. This sensor is paired with the 32-bit ARM CORTEX M0+ processor and 512 KB onboard memory, saving up to 7 preset DPI modes maxing up to 16,000 DPI.

The sensor can offer a maximum tracking speed of 400 inches per second and a max acceleration of 50Gs. It also offers a max polling rate of 1000 Hz, which can be altered using compatible software. It has a lift-off distance that is less than 2 mm, which is another good thing to boast about.

Talking about the software, the MM711 is compatible with the Cooler Master MasterPlus+, which offers plenty of customization options, including RGB customizations.

The mouse has a total of 6 programmable buttons that can be easily programmed using the same compatible software. It uses Omron switches for the main click buttons, which are well known for their satisfying sound and feel.

Overall, the MM711 is an optimal choice for people who are looking for a gaming mouse with a lightweight body and an excellent gaming sensor. It follows the trend with the honeycomb design, and Cooler Master has even added dust and spill-resistant coating for the people who might be concerned with the exposed insides.

HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro

The HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro is our third choice on the list of best gaming mouse under 5000 Rs. HyperX is a well-known brand, especially in the gaming headset market. Gamers love these headsets, and I have had my hands on some as well, and the experience was pretty good.

Now coming on to the mouse, the HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro uses a Pixart 3389 optical sensor, the same sensor that the Cooler Master MM711 we just discussed above. It offers the same max acceleration of 50Gs while the polling rate stays at 1000 Hz, which can be customized using its compatible software. By default, it gives 3 DPI presets at 800, 1600 & 3200 DPI, which you can be maxed up to 16,000 DPI using the compatible software.

One thing that this mouse excels at is its built quality. The mouse feels very durable and solid in the hands. It weighs about 95 grams which could not be considered lightweight, but the weight is light good enough to mot weigh you down. It uses Omron switches for the main switches, which are known to improve your clicking experience. If you flip the mouse, you will see some big PTFE feet that help these to glide on most of the mousepads easily.

It is a nicely built mouse with all the buttons placed in a good spot, making them easy to reach and use. You will notice that this mouse follows an ambidextrous design with the perfect shape that can be used by any of your hands, although you need to know that the side buttons are only placed on the left side.

The mouse has six programmable buttons, which can be easily programmed using its compatible software. Talking about the software, the Pulsefire Surge uses the NGenuity software, which some people are not a big fan of. Still, I think it’s decent software with all the necessary customization options.

Since this is a HyperX mouse, you will surely get to see some nice RGB work in it. It has an RGB strip that encircles the whole mouse and adds a nice touch. This RGB scheme with the good build of the mouse gives a nice and premium feel to it, making it one of the best-looking gaming mice in the segment.
