The High Commissioner’s presence at the CAMP, held from 1 to 4 PM, reinforced that India’s leadership is about delivering services with efficiency and transparency. The High Commissioner was given an exclusive tour featuring koalas, kangaroos, and crocodiles. In the evening, the High Commissioner attended a community dinner organised by India Fest Townsville. This event, held at 6 PM, was a vibrant gathering of influential guests, including Mr. Phillip Thompson, Member for Herbert; Mr. Andrew Wilcox, Member for Dawson; and the Mayor of Townsville, Mr. Troy Thompson, alongside representatives from various Indian community organisations.
