Rahat Indori’s Rahat Ghazal, Nazm and Shayari – hindi urdu poet rahat indori poems shayari podcast by pooja prasad

Everyday the stars disturb the show
Moon is crazy, as it goes in the dark

There is a crazy traveler in my eyes
stops from time to time starts walking

A waking dream caught in the wake of my spell
leaves the house everyday like the sun

Everyday writes ghazals in favor of stone
Everyday some work comes out of the mirrors

I have remembered him, take a breath, walk slowly
even heartbeat disturbs prayer

Hello friends, welcome to the special Hindi podcast of News18. Today I have brought for you Pooja Prasad, some stories and some songs of our own famous Ghazalgo Rahat Indori Saheb. Hope you will have a pleasant journey with us. So friends, without delay, let’s start with a wonderful incident which was shared by Rahat Saheb himself in a program.

Rahat Indori saheb told in a program that after some saying of a person, he kept on turning around one night. He told that he spent his whole life sifting through the ashes of the land, but one day someone told him that he was a Jihadi! Hearing this, he became so restless that he could not sleep the whole night, thinking that friend, where am I a Jihadi from? He says- I pointed in the same way and asked whether I am a Jihadi? Then this voice came from my mind that you may not be a Jihadi-Vihadi, but you must be a little different.

So along with this, listen to this poem of his, something related to this-

Write down my identity when I die
write india on my forehead with blood

So our own Rahat Indori was like this. When he says – na humsafar na kisi hamnashin se niklega, hamare pao ka kaanta hame se niklega – then we all can feel those thorns on our feet which we have either scratched out or which sting.. it hurts. But tells us that the boss will emerge by his own actions and efforts. Well, if we talk about efforts, the life of Rahat Indori is a poem of efforts in itself. It is said that he had to start working at the age of less than 10 years. It is said that he had to work as a sign-artist. At that time the financial condition of the family was very bad… by the way, he was also interested in painting and he later earned a name in this too. It is said that once upon a time, customers who were fond of Rahat Indori’s paintings had to wait a long time for the boards made by him. He wrote – Where he kept giving courage to others, he also kept doing the work of slapping with love. The style of his speech is also such that it seems that he is talking to us. Social, political, personal.. He wrote fearlessly on every angle of life.

Let’s listen to one of his romantic ghazals

Sun, stars, moon stay with me
as long as you hold my hand

stay together like breaths
If you left your dreams, you remained in your thoughts.

Every drop like an arrow descends into the soul
someone like me stays alone in the rain

You have found every color in every mood
May all the weather be in your favor

We are not the leaves that break from the branches
Someone tell the storm to stay in its place

Rahat Indori was born on 1 January 1950 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Her father Rafatullah Qureshi and mother Maqbool un Nisa Begum named her Rahat Qureshi. It is said that he was the captain of the football and hockey teams in school and college. Later, he did MA in Urdu and PhD with the title ‘Urdu Mushaira’. For about 16 years, he kept teaching Urdu in Indore University. For decades, whether in the country or abroad, he kept reaching the hearts of the people through his mushairas.

His popularity can be gauged from the fact that recently his poem – Bulati Hai Magar Jaane Ka Nahi – had gone viral on social media. He wrote songs for about a dozen Bollywood films. He also wrote lyrics for the famous song Koi Jaye To Le Aaye from the film Ghatak, the song Need Churai Meri Tumne O Sanam from the film Ishq and Munna Bhai MBBS.

Rahat Indori left us on 11th August 2020. Were infected with Corona and then had a heart attack. But he has left behind countless lions with whom whenever we come face to face, we get relief… Let us listen to the poem of this cool Malandar poet who says that life is the name of liveliness..

Why do people keep stopping at every turn
If you are so scared then why do you leave the house

May-Kada is the measure of Me’ar of Zarf
why do people jump like empty glasses

There is a turning point of youth
And why does everyone come here and slip

I have no connection with sleep for years
Why do you walk on the terrace of my dreams?

I am neither a firefly nor a star
Why are the lights jealous of Mira’s name?

Hope you will like this journey of poetry with Rahat Saheb. For the time being, I leave once again in search of a new journey, I will meet you again soon with another creator. Greetings, hello…
