Sushila Takbhare’s poems: Abuse, woman outside the door of the house – sushila takbhore hindi kavitayen podcast poems by pooja prasad

in the name of loyalty
yourself
One dog
Can be called
but
not bitch
just hearing the word bitch
it’s a curse
is it because she is a woman
his character
his loyalty
It is weighed in many buckets…

behind the door
behind the scenes
peeping woman
looks out the door
street city world
eyes, ears, thoughts are free
only the feet are bound
total shame
scope of boundaries
to the doorstep
maternal home or in-laws
behind the door
behind the scenes
she sees the world
everything is starting to understand
still silent
shake your hand
self-catch
Let’s keep the feet tied
Now
to generations to come
Have to save
have to give way
stepping forward
Gotta get out of the door!
Sushila Takbhaure’s autobiography ‘Shikanje Ka Dard’ brought her into limelight. Born in a small village in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh, Sushila faced poverty, caste and gender discrimination, neglect and struggle… In an interview, she tells that the purpose of her writing is Dalit discourse and feminine discourse. a woman
whenever someone tries
writing speaking understanding
always fearful
as if guarding
someone riding on your head
guard
like a working woman
Contractor
or for property purchased
watchman
she thinks by tilting the pen while writing
control your speech
and to understand
see from everyone’s point of view
Because she is a woman!

dog and bitch complement each other

Why does ‘bitch’ become a slur

in a male dominated society
surrender or
Rebellion
The fault of bad qualities is on the woman only.
