Even though Burrow eventually transferred to Louisiana State University prior to Holzmacher’s graduation, they didn’t let that stop their burgeoning love story.
The same year he transferred, while Holzmacher was still a student at Ohio State, she posted a photo of her and Burrow celebrating an LSU win with the caption, “when you fangirl over your own boyfriend.”
After Burrow was selected first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, Holzmacher wrote, “Thankful to be by your side Joe … so excited for what the future holds.”
Holzmacher regularly supports Burrow at his Bengals games and shared several snaps from the stands during the 2022 season. In one Instagram post from Oct. 23, Holzmacher posed in a black sweatsuit adorned with tiger faces. She joked about the festive outfit in the caption, writing, “Don’t call me out if I wear the tiger suit again!”
Holzmacher was also on hand to cheer Burrow on during his AFC divisional game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 22, 2023, where he led the Bengals to victory and secured their spot in the AFC championship game. Holzmacher shared several snaps from the snowy game on her Instagram Story, including a video of her boyfriend warming up on the field before kickoff.
While Holzmacher is known to help Burrow celebrate his football wins, she’s also present to comfort him during his loses. On Jan. 29, 2023, Holzmacher posted a photo and video on her Instagram Story from the stands of the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals game, which Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals lost, 23-20.
