Be it ICE or Fossil – the car itself needs to be protected. Day by day the number of road accidents is increasing along with the increasing traffic congestion. Therefore, many buyers are paying more attention to the safety features of the car these days. In this situation, the electric hatchback Citroen eC3 failed the Global NCAP crash test. The model failed with a 0-star rating for adult passengers. Where only one star rating has been achieved for child passengers.

Citroen eC3 fails the GNCAP crash test

After the launch of BNCAP, most of the cars sold in the country will be safety checked in India. Before going to GNCAP, the poor condition of Citroen eC3 came in front of everyone. It scored just 20.86 out of 34 for adult passengers. So they didn’t get even one star. Although the head and neck of the driver and front passenger were fine in the impact from the front, the condition of the chest was seen to be very deplorable. Even the condition of the knee was not very promising.

Head conditions were fair in GNCAP’s side impact test. But the condition of the chest is relatively good. Again, the damage to the stomach and waist was not noticed. Citroen eC3 is missing side air bags. Again the electronic stability control rules were not followed.

The car scored just 10.55 out of 49 for child passengers. This makes the car 1-star. Meanwhile, in relation to this crash test, GNCAP said that the Citroen eC3 is not able to withstand the impact from the front.
