Oppo A59, the new surprise in the world of 5G phones, is going to be launched soon, ending the wait

Oppo is currently said to be working on a new smartphone model of their popular A-series. The device is rumored to debut as the Oppo A59 5G. Ahead of the launch, the phone has now been spotted on important certification platforms like Bluetooth SIG and BIS. Let’s find out what information has emerged from these listings.

Oppo A59 5G spotted in Bluetooth SIG and BIS databases

Oppo A59 5G phone with model number CPH2617 has appeared on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification sites. Besides revealing the model number, the BIS listing also confirmed that the smartphone will make its way into the Indian market very soon.

On the other hand, the Bluetooth SIG database reveals that the Oppo A59 5G will support Bluetooth 5.3 version. However, neither of the two platforms has revealed any details about the specifications of this device. As a result, the design, specifications, pricing or launch details are yet to be revealed. But it is expected to offer several upgrades over its predecessor, the Oppo A58 5G model.

Notably, the Oppo A58 5G has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel, which supports 90 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. For photography, the Oppo A58 5G features a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear panel, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

For power backup, the phone includes a large 5,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. However, the new Oppo A59 5G is likely to get some upgrades in specifications and minor updates in design.
