Poco recently announced that a new budget-range handset under the M-series will soon be launched in India. In this case, this upcoming smartphone has already been confirmed to be brought to the country under the name of Poco M6 Pro 5G. However, the company has not revealed the launch date of the model in India. However, Poco today shared a teaser image for their much-awaited smartphone. Where the design of the rear panel and frame of the said model is clearly noticeable. The image shows the Poco M6 Pro 5G with a flat frame design and dual-tone finish.

The Poco M6 Pro 5G is confirmed to be launched in India under the budget segment. In this case, we estimate that the price of the device may be kept below Rs. 15,000. But this is just our guess. The exact price of this Poco brand phone can be known only after the official launch.
Meanwhile, the latest teaser image shared by the company has already leaked the back panel design of this M-series handset. In the image, the Poco M6 Pro 5G phone is seen with a dual-tone back finishing design. The upper part of its rear panel has a rectangular shaped black out area, which houses the dual camera setup and an LED flash light. Again, the band logo is visible on the right corner of this camera module. Besides, the SIM tray is also visible on the left side of the phone. According to the teaser image, the handset in question will be available in Cyan Blue or Green color options post-launch.
However, from the name I hope you understand that this upcoming Poco phone under the M-series will offer 5G connectivity. The company has not revealed any information about the features of the device yet. However, some tipsters claim that the upcoming Poco M6 Pro 5G smartphone in India will be launched as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 12R model that has already debuted in China. If this information is true, we guess the Poco M6 Pro 5G’s feature list will be similar to the Redmi model.
The Redmi Note 12R 5G debuted in China last June as the world’s first phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It uses Adreno 613 as the GPU. The phone comes with a 6.79-inch Full HD Plus (2460×1080 pixels) IPS LCD punch-hole display panel with 90 Hz refresh rate and 550 nits peak brightness. It is powered by MIUI 14 custom skin based on Android 13. As for storage, the device will get up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a maximum of 256 GB of UFS 2.2 ROM.
For photos and videography, the Redmi Note 12R smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with LED flash. These cameras are – 50 megapixel primary sensor and 2 megapixel macro sensor. And there is a 5 megapixel selfie camera on the front of the device. Talking about other features, the model in question comes with side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and single speaker system for great sound offering. Connectivity options include – 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, IR blaster, dual SIM slot and 3.5mm headphone jack. For power backup, the Redmi Note 12R phone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery supported by 18W charging technology. It is IP53 rated for splash and dust resistance.
