Apple is starting the production of iPhone 15 series as the sales will skyrocket

Apple may launch its upcoming Series Iphone 15 in the month of September this year. Ever since the release of the iPhone 14 lineup last year, there have been several leaks about the possible features and design of the successor. As a result, every tech-lover is now eagerly waiting for the arrival of the iPhone 15 lineup of devices.

Meanwhile, according to a recent leak, the successor will be more expensive than its predecessors. This is because, the upcoming series may use the design language of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models. We have also been informed that several improvements will be made to the hardware. And for this reason, Apple believes that its upcoming Iphone Series will resonate with consumers even more than the older-generation devices. Because of which sales can skyrocket. So to prepare in advance, the tech giant has announced the start of production of the new iPhone 15 series at the Zhengzhou-based production plant of one of its oldest suppliers, Foxconn.

Foxconn has started production of Apple iPhone 15 series

Soon after the launch, Apple is expected to start taking orders for their iPhone 15 series. In this case, the tech giant claims that these new devices will be quite popular among the buyers and the number of sales in the first week may touch several million units. So to meet this ‘potential’ demand, Apple has instructed its supplier, Foxconn, to start trial production of the iPhone 15 series at its China-based Zhengzhou plant. And this work will be completed in very few days maybe. Because, it is heard that mass production of the upcoming iPhone series may start in the last week of this month.

Apple is reportedly aiming to stock 85-90 million units ahead of the launch of the iPhone 15 lineup. Most of the units will be of the ‘Pro’ series models. Foxconn has increased the signing bonus of new employees to meet production and supply demand. But given past experience, Tim Cook’s company isn’t relying solely on Foxconn to build 15th-generation iPhone devices. Besides, it has engaged China’s Shenzhen-based ‘Luxshare Precision’ as the second supplier.

Meanwhile, some reports claim that the iPhone 15 series might come with a new design language similar to the existing iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models. Besides, this series is also expected to come with more advanced cameras. In this case, the device’s rear camera module may feature a new 48-megapixel primary sensor and a periscope telephoto lens. A new front-facing camera with autofocus may be located in the front.

In terms of hardware, the 15th generation iPhone series may be powered by the new A17 Bionic chipset. This processor will be based on TSMC’s 3nm processing node and will offer better performance than the older generation A16 Bionic chip. The devices are also said to support USB Type-C fast charging. This could lead to new ports being made available in the iPhone 15 series or the phones supporting fast charging speeds through the new MagSafe charger.
