Tata Motors has announced an update to the electric car in the gap between the launch of the new car and the new version of the existing model. Tata has launched the XZ+ Lux variant of the country’s best-selling EV model Nexon EV Max with new features. The price is pegged at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux bookings have already started.

Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux : Update

The Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux is the top-end version of Tata’s flagship electric SUV. Its 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC fast charger versions have been updated. Currently, it will get Harman’s 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system. It supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play technology. There is also enhanced sound quality, HD rear view camera, voice assistant in six languages ​​and advanced voice command support.

Tata Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux: Battery, Range and Price

Apart from the above features, Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux has not undergone any changes in exterior, interior, electric motor and battery. As before, it comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack with Ziptron technology. From which 141.04 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque will be available. It takes 9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h. The range of the car is 450 km.

Tata Motors has reported sales of over 45,000 units of the Nexon EV range from 250 dealerships in over 180 cities. The 3.3kW and 7.2kW AC fast charger versions of the Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux are priced at Rs 18.79 lakh and Rs 19.29 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
