Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has taken a big action on the account serving bad content. Actually, Meta has removed about 43 million (43 million) content working under the new IT Rule 2021 in India. Meta has said that it has removed about 38.4 million posts due to 13 policies of Facebook. At the same time, 4.61 million pieces of content have been removed due to a total of 12 policy violations on Instagram. This action has been taken during March 2023.

Facebook got so many reports

Let us inform that between March 1-31, Facebook has received 7,193 reports through the Indian Grievance Mechanism, out of which 1,903 complaints have been resolved and the company will once again consider / review the remaining complaints. After review, action has been taken only against 1300 reports.

Instagram got so many reports

On Instagram too, 9,226 reports have been received from the Indian Grievance Mechanism. Out of this, 4,280 cases have been resolved, out of which action has been taken on 1,656 reports. Another 4,946 reports will be reviewed again.
