Under this service, senior smartphone users will get services related to phone setup sitting at home. The company believes that home support service will prove to be a game-changer and will revolutionize the customer service sector in times to come.
How to use the service
According to the company, users will have to follow a few steps to use the at-home phone support service. First of all, they have to scan the QR code and enter their details. Once the details are submitted, a Xiaomi representative will call the user to confirm the service and pin code. After this, the representative will visit the user’s home and help in setting up the phone.

Xiaomi informed that customers can book an appointment for the service through hot-line number 1800-103-6286 and WhatsApp number 8861826286.
Service is free for the first 30 days
The at-home phone support service can be availed by senior smartphone users who live within a radius of 20 kms from the nearest Xiaomi service centre. Within the first 30 days, no charge will be taken from the users for the service. Thereafter, customers will have to pay a charge of Rs 249 to use the service.
Service is available in these cities
Xiaomi’s new service is available in 15 cities of the country, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida, Pune. It is being speculated that in the coming days, the at-home phone setup service will be rolled out across the country.
