Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, unveiled its latest addition to the A-series lineup in India on Wednesday, February 14. The Redmi A3, an entry-level smartphone, boasts a sleek waterdrop-style notch display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC.

Offering versatility, it comes in three distinct color options and three different configurations of RAM and storage. Notably, the device features an AI-supported dual-camera setup with an 8-megapixel primary sensor and is fueled by a robust 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

Redmi A3 Price in India & Variants

In terms of pricing and availability, the Redmi A3 starts at Rs. 7,299 for the base variant with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The 4GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs. 8,299, while the top-tier 6GB + 128GB model is available for Rs. 9,299. Consumers can choose from Midnight Black, Lake Blue, and Olive Green color options when it go on sale through Flipkart, Mi.com, and Xiaomi’s retail partners starting February 23.

In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi A3 operates on Android 13 (Go Edition) and boasts a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz touch sampling rate and a 90Hz refresh rate. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the display accommodates the selfie shooter within the notch. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM. Noteworthy is the virtual RAM functionality, allowing memory expansion up to 12GB.
