JEECUP Polytechnic is a state-level entrance Examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) for admission to various diploma courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other related fields in colleges and institutions across Uttar Pradesh.
JEECUP was established in the year 1986 under the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. The Council is headquartered in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and is responsible for organizing the JEECUP examination, counseling, and allotment of seats to the qualified candidates.
The examination is also known as UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam or Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE-P). JEECUP Polytechnic is conducted annually, usually in the month of April, and is a pen and paper-based test.
