2K sports are hard at work to ensure their games are well supported as they roll out the NBA 2K23 Update 1.005 the following week after release for last and current-gen consoles as well as PC. This Patch is expected to fix the VC glitch exploit users have encountered within the game.

While official patch notes have not been released as of yet by 2K sports, it seems that the game will no longer glitch out when players decide to sign their shoe deal and go further in the game with the main story.

After updating the game, you can now sign your shoe deal and continue on your main quests! from NBA2k

The PS4’s update history also seems to mention that changes have been made to improve the game’s stability and positive additions to the user experience, but we are yet to see which part these fixes affect most. So far, this patch has been on the small side in size for most platforms, so that’s a relief.

The official Patch Notes for NBA 2K23 will be made available by Visual Concepts soon, so stay tuned. Users on Reddit are also actively reporting any changes made to the title, and we will be sure to update this article with those until the official patch notes are revealed.
