Heirs Holdings launches into Africa's digital revolution

Pan-African investment firm Heirs Holdings has launched Heirs Technologies, a subsidiary focused on driving digital transformation across the continent.

Heirs Technologies aims to provide essential IT services including consulting (advisory, business transformation, system integration), licensing, and partnerships. Additionally, they will offer managed services such as IT operations and business process outsourcing.

According to a statement seen by Bendada.com, investing in cutting-edge technology and fostering collaboration are key aspects of their strategy. They also plan to develop local talent through specialised training programs.

"We are embarking on a journey driven by a clear purpose. Our mission goes beyond creating products; it's about shaping the future of technology with groundbreaking solutions," says Heirs Holdings CEO, Emmanuel Nnorom.

Obong Idiong, who has held senior management roles at the United Bank for Africa Plc and Heirs Holdings Limited, has been appointed as CEO of Heirs Technologies. "We are proud to bring Heirs Holdings’ core values and business approach to the tech sector, leading with excellence, execution, and enterprise," Idiong said. "We are committed to bridging an enormous gap in the technology ecosystem by delivering local relevance to a global market and offering cutting-edge solutions to enable our customers to become more competitive."

Additionally, Dr. Fumbi Chima has been appointed as the Chair of Heirs Technologies. She has served as CIO in global companies including Adidas, Fox Network Group, Burberry Corporation, Walmart Stores Inc. Asia business operations and American Express.
