As a Business Controller, you will play a crucial role team in developing the financial structures and policies enabling us to steer the business, follow-up on investments while at the same time ensuring that the business can make quick decisions.

As a member of our Finance Business Partnering team, you will be part of a team which, through close collaboration with the business units, uses data to guide the organization to perform on our value-driving activities. We support decision-making by developing business cases – highlighting the risks and rewards of making decisions and help bridge the gap between finance and other areas of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with our internal processes. E.g., by validating that entries are assigned to the correct cost and profit centres.
• Be part of developing the financial structures for data collection to ensure that the team can deliver the reports and analyses required throughout the organization. E.g. through involvement in managing discounts, trade marketing initiatives and controlling pricing.
• Be part of the financial planning processes.
• Drive projects within the Finance Business Partnering team related to your responsibilities.
• Contributing to ongoing process improvements within the business controlling area.

Your profile

You bring experience from a similar role and hold an educational background in Accounting or Finance. Your structured approach, excellent business acumen, and ability to balance short-term tasks with long-term development are commendable. You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Additionally, you excel as a superuser in Excel and have proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Business Central, or another ERP software solution. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of CRM systems and Power BI.
