Panoramic Associates: Interim Part-Time Senior Property Solicitor
Position Overview
We’re supporting our Local Authority client with the recruitment of an Interim Part-Time Senior Property Solicitor position on a 3-day per week basis (21 hours). This is a fully remote role that will last for three months. Ideally, we hope to fill the position within the next 2-3 weeks.
Role Summary
Advice: Provide expertise and counsel on all matters relating to property law (commercial and residential) for the council as part of the shared legal service arrangements. The role will also have supervisory responsibilities.
Property Law: Manage registered and unregistered land, advise and undertake legal work on property-related transactions and projects. Oversee all property work concerning the council’s housing stock and supervise the conveyancing work of other team members.
Legal Advice: Deliver professional and timely legal advice on a range of property-related transactions and projects.
Statutory Obligations: Play a key role in ensuring the council fulfills its statutory obligations.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other lawyers within the team and internal clients to achieve the best outcomes for the council.
Requirements
Must have significant experience and knowledge in dealing with and advising on property law-related matters.
Be a Qualified solicitor or barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a current practising certificate.
Have extensive experience in providing clear and coherent written and oral legal advice.
Possess the ability to maintain high standards of client care and work as part of a team to deliver an effective and efficient legal service.
