Social Media Coordinator (Part time job)

A dynamic video production and distribution company in the media and entertainment industry has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Remote Executive Assistant! They are looking for a creative professional with a background as an executive assistant who is highly organized, tech-savvy, versatile, and preferably lives in New York or New Jersey for potential in-person tasks. The position offers a flexible schedule of 10-20 hours per week with a 6-month contract that has the potential to extend or turn into a full-time role. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who can think on their feet, troubleshoot to find solutions to problems independently, and is passionate about working in a polished, creative space with prestigious clientele.

Pay Range: \(30 - \)50/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily administrative tasks including making dinner reservations, ordering client gifts, creating PowerPoint presentations, and managing Excel reports
  • Manage social media, including graphic design, content creation, scheduling posts, and handling paid social campaigns
  • Contribute to writing tasks such as copywriting for website rebranding, award submissions, and corporate copywriting, with an emphasis on SEO
  • Perform data entry, prepare client presentations, book travel and accommodations, and participate in shoots or run errands if local
  • Support various projects and tasks as needed, showcasing flexibility and creativity

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an executive assistant
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experienced in managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field
  • Independent worker with excellent time management skills and proactive communication
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude and professional demeanor
  • Prior experience in media, film, advertising, public relations, or related industries is preferred
  • Residence in the New York or New Jersey area for potential in-person tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work flexibly
  • A positive, proactive approach to troubleshooting and finding solutions
  • Strong creative skills and the ability to contribute to a team s creative processes
