Programme Manager (4 day week job)

This role is a key role within IT and Change.

You will Manage change projects within workstreams that impacts Multiple Business Areas across multiple years. These projects will improve operational effectiveness and supports strategic objectives of the company.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Provide leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle from planning to operational handover, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery;
  • Lead complex projects into successful Programmes of work;
  • Create and manage Project Deliverable Artefacts, ensuring quality management and progress tracking;
  • Obtain required commercial approvals from senior Stakeholders;
  • Manage project resources and plan resource demand in collaboration with PMO;
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across functions, facilitating change and managing stakeholder relationships effectively;
  • Develop and control project finances within a Programme of work;
  • Identify, manage, report, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies at project and Programme level;
  • Provide comprehensive Project Reporting to stakeholders on project status, risks, mitigations, dependencies, and progress;
  • Define, document, and complete complex projects successfully;
  • Plan and coordinate related projects and activities supporting specific business strategies and objectives;
  • Adopt and adapt project management methods and tools;
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue, and capital expenditures against the project budget;
  • Manage expectations of key project stakeholders;
  • Manage 3rd party vendors engaged in the Project;
  • Support project managers through coaching and mentoring;
  • Develop project management best practices within Smartest Energy.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Proven track record in successfully delivering complex and/or large-scale IT change projects impacting multiple business areas across fiscal years;
  • Experience working with IT vendors and building successful partnerships;
  • Demonstrable stakeholder engagement across all levels within IT and the business;
  • Experience in assessing project feasibility and executing planning and approval processes for large-scale projects;
  • Good industry awareness .

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
