About the Position

Accelerate Change is seeking an experienced Facebook Ads Specialist (Freelance) to support our team’s Facebook Ads work over the coming months.

Here’s what you could expect to do as a Facebook Ads Specialist (Freelance):

  • Develop Facebook ad content and visuals. This includes sourcing and researching content, writing ad copy, writing headlines, and finding and editing creative assets (both photo and video).
  • Run A/B tests to measure and improve performance
  • Build and manage ads in Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Analyze and report key metrics for each A/B test and manage spend against aggressive ROI targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Commitment to social justice. Accelerate Change is a mission-driven organization focused on progressive social change and social justice, with a focus on communities of color. You have a demonstrated commitment to this work and you’d like to be part of a team of people who do, too.
  • 2+ years of experience with key responsibilities: We’re looking for someone who has at least 2 years of experience with Facebook ad management, including: building, managing, optimizing, A/B testing, creating and pulling custom reports and analyzing FB ads data.
  • Detail Oriented: You understand the importance of error free work and you’re intentionally methodical with your ad builds.
  • Interest in digital media: You are interested in the power of digital media for organizing and social change. You regularly engage - personally or professionally - with many of the following and are interested to learn more about Accelerate Change’s work with others on this list: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Facebook and Instagram Ads, podcasts, streaming shows.

Compensation and Commitment

Compensation for the role is \(30 - \)40 per hour depending on experience.

This is a 3-month, part-time freelance opportunity with the ability to extend. The compensation range is \(30 to \)40 per hour, depending on experience. The number of hours per week will vary, but we estimate roughly 15-20 hours per week. Some meetings will be required during normal business hours (9am-5pm local time, Monday - Friday) for collaboration and to level-set on projects.
