Job Summary

REN-ISAC (Research & Education Networks Information Sharing Analysis Center) is a team of highly skilled cyber security professionals for the higher education sector. Our team provides Cyber security threat intelligence and CSIRT services for the higher education institutions in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Moreover our team strives to be ahead of the game and provide top notch cyber security services for its members.

Work includes: * Research Api Gateway Implementation within AWS and an IU cloud. * Assist in the proposal and implementation of the API gateway and its integration with existing services. * Pros and cons evaluation of the API gateway implementation. * Evaluation of the SSO role and the micro services during API gateway integration.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required * Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.

Preferred * Currently enrolled in an Computer Science Major or Minor

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required * General interest in computer science or informatics * Experience with Python programming and API integration.

SKILLS

Required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong working knowledge of, or willingness to learn in depth API gateway implementation process, Python programming. * Strong listening skills * Effective interpersonal skills * Demonstrated project management skills

Work Location

Bloomington, Indiana

This position is eligible for remote work subject to change based on university policy and business needs.
