THE JOB

As we scale our business, we are searching for an early career software developer to join the core data platform team. You will have the opportunity to have immediate impact, learn new skills, and grow with us as we tackle exciting new challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist in overhauling our data pipeline to a new, scalable platform

• Be involved in ingesting new data sources and prepping them for analysis and research by the data science team.

• Be mentored by senior developers on how to explore new patterns for the ETL process

• Help extend existing data infrastructure to bring Uplevel to new customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience/education

• Hands on Familiarity with programming languages such as Java and Python

• Solid fundamentals in working with data and data structures

• Effective collaboration style

• Clear communication skills

• Curiosity and a desire to learn new skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with cloud hosting services

• Familiarity with data ETL and SQL

• Familiarity with microservice architecture
