In comparison to the similar Helio G95, the G96 offers a slower GPU but supports 120 Hz displays (G95 90Hz). The Cortex-A76 has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. 

There are a total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.05 GHz. MediaTek Helio G96 has the latest set of instruction architecture. This processor is not considered as fast as the Snapdragon and its counterparts, but it is strong enough to beat some of the latest and most powerful Chipsets. 

Helio G96 is fabricated on 12 nm, which means MediaTek Helio G96 will not be power-efficient as it will consume more battery and produce more heat. 

The GPU of the MediaTek Helio G96, Mali-G57 MC2, functions on a new architecture called Valhalla. This makes it fast and strong enough to handle games like Free Fire and PUBG Mobile at high FPS.
