Sprint to Unveil Android WiMAX Phone During CTIA Wireless Next Week

The Sprint’s first Wimax Android-based phone expected to be the centerpiece of a presentation made by Chief Executive Dan Hesse during the CTIA Wireless trade show that start on Tuesday March 23 at Las Vegas according to Dow Jones Newswires via The Wall Street Journal.

The Android Wimax Phone apparently will be the HTC A9292 aka HTC Supersonic which has large 4.3inch (480 x 800) capacitive touch screen powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650 1 GHz processors. The rumored specs are 1GB ROM, 512 RAM, 5MP camera. Operates the latest Android 2.1. Some sources called this ‘Flan’ but it is actually still considered part of ‘Eclair’.

Probably you can consider to have hands-on experience for HTC Supersonic at CTIA Wireless on Sprint’s booth #MR-N206 and #5764.
