My Personal Experience in this Minisopuru DisplayLink Docking Station Review
I used three laptops last week, the first Lenovo G40-45, Macbook Air M1, and ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 16. As you can notice the first one doesn’t even have a USB C port, so I used USB A to USB C connector. Overall, it worked well with all three laptops of different breads.

Godsend for M1/M2 Mackbooks
Furthermore, it is a well-known fact that M1 Mackbook can only natively support one external monitor, but Minisopuru 13-in-1 Laptop Docking Station allows M1/M2 Macs to connect to multiple monitors. However, as I mentioned earlier, to use this workaround, you will need to install the DisplayLink Manager driver.
Once you have installed the DisplayLink Manager driver, you can connect up to two additional monitors to your M1 Mac. The monitors can be any resolution and refresh rate that is supported by your DisplayLink adapter.
Everything without any lag
Whether it is a Windows laptop or a Macbook, I never experienced any lag or stuttering, even while gaming. The 60Hz refresh rate ensured that images were smooth and responsive, and using my laptop’s screen didn’t cause any noticeable changes. The dock did get a bit warm after I extended my display and connected a few devices to it, but heat sinks take care of this issue very well. So, it wasn’t anything to be concerned about.
Making my work life a bit easier, and me a bit lazier!

is everything really right? One extra cable, Driver, and a Full-Size USB Port at the back
To connect the Minisopuru docking station to a MacBook and charge the Mac, you need to connect the docking station to power, connect your original Apple charger to the docking station, and then connect the docking station to the laptop. This seems one more connection than is required for some other docking stations/multi-port hubs, but the Minisopuru power adapter is smaller and doesn’t come with a giant brick.
It is not really an issue, but I wanted a full-size USB at the back. There are four full-size USBs at the front, which is fantastic, but no full-size USB ports on the back can be inconvenient for people like me who want to leave one backup storage cable plugged in for easy access. Other than this, the rest of the functionality is hassle-free and mostly plug-and-play.
The pen drive comes with the latest drivers for all devices, but if you have old Windows then you have to find the right driver for your PC. My Old Lenovo G40-45 is running with Windows 10 1803, the DisplayLink driver provided in the pendrive doesn’t support this build. But, this is not really a problem, you can either scan the QR code printed on the visiting card-sized paper card or you can directly download the driver from here: DisplayLink Driver or Here.

Yes, you read it right. Since modern-day smartphone comes with OTG support we can connect these Multi-Port Hub with them. I did not try all ports and devices but I tried pen drives and card reader with my Motorola G71 5G. And I must say that it worked flawlessly.
