Cities Skylines 2 is the latest installment in the city builder simulator game Cities Skylines, developed by Colossal Order and under the publication of Paradox Interactive. The game has just been launched and the performance is a real disappointment. Players are stuck with Cities Skylines 2 10 FPS in the Main Menu.

Update your Graphics Card Driver

One of the most common reasons for Cities Skylines 2 10 FPS in the Main Menu is outdated graphics card drivers. Here’s how to download the latest drivers.

  • For AMD, you can download the Drivers from AMD Adrenaline or through the manual method.

Closing Applications

Behind the game, there might be various applications running that can result in your having low FPS and Performance in the Main Menu, resulting in further game stutters or crashes. Open your Task Bar and close all the unnecessary apps.

Verify Game Files or Repair them

Sometimes, Low FPS Drops in Cities Skylines 2 Main Menu can be caused by corrupted game files. To fix this issue, verify the game files in their respective launcher.

  • Open Steam
  • Go to Steam Launcher
  • Right Click on “Cities Skylines 2”
  • Go to Properties
  • Go to the Files Tab
  • Click on “Verify Integrity of Game Files”
