It has been a lifelong rule of Counter-Strike that once you get a major game ban for cheating, 2nd griefing offense, or even account boosting, then you are done for. Why Am I Getting Permanently Banned in CS2?

In a competitive game like Counter-Strike 2, bans are meant to block off players that are either toxic to the community or using other means to offend people like cheating, boosting, smurfing, and so on.

This is the same way with other competitive games in other genres like Dota 2, League of Legends, and Valorant. While it might sound like you did something, the system is not perfect and not all people are at fault most of the time.
