Why is CS2 1 Vote Surrender a Big Deal?

In a game like Counter-Strike, you are bound to get a toxic teammate. It is 5v5, but that single toxic person can change the fate of the whole team. They can call the Surrender Vote, and it will end up with the team losing instantly, without the permission or voting of the other 4 members.
