How to Complete Tsutsu-um Shrine 

Attach Stake to Pillar 

Look to the left of the shrine entrance. See that plate with a stake? Grab it with Ultrahand. Then carry it to the moving pillar. Wait for the plate and the rod on the pillar to align. Once they do, join them at a right angle. 

Move Plate to Third Platform 

Thanks to the moving pillar, the plate now serves as a lift. Climb on and drop off at the next platform. Then turn around and use Ultrahand to detach the plate from the pillar. Hold it and make your way to the other side of the platform. From there, you can move the plate to the third platform. 

Attach Plate to Spinning Wheel 

See the fan-like structure blowing a column of air on the second platform? Jump on it and it will lift you high up in the air. Use this to make your way to the third platform. Once on the third platform, use Ultrahand on the plate again. Attach it to the spinning wheel on the other side of the platform. 

Grab the Ball

There are three diagonally placed rods around the see-saw-like structure near the spinning wheel. Move the middle one with Ultrahand to the see-saw’s other side. Position it so the falling ball hits it. Then grab the ball with Ultrahand. 

Drop Ball into Socket 

Place the ball on the curved track at the bottom of the wheel. As the wheel spins, the plate you attached to it will hit the ball. This will move the ball to the next platform. If that doesn’t happen, adjust the plate towards the wheel’s outer edge. 

Once the plate is in the right position, it will push the ball into its socket on the next platform. This opens the gate on the shrine entrance’s right. Go through and interact with the console there.

Alternate Solution 

There’s another simpler way to complete this puzzle. To do this, use the air column to reach the small platform above the third platform. Swap to Ultrahand and prepare to catch the falling ball. Once you grab it, drop it on the second platform. Jump down to the third platform. 

Use Ultrahand to move the ball to the curved track. Then get to the second platform. Use the air column there to reach the last platform with the ball socket. From there, grab the ball with Ultrahand and drop it into its socket. Ascend up and glide back to the first platform.
