Warner Bros is coming up with many DC superheroes projects lately. The Flash movie based on Flashpoint plot is in the making. Recently, rumors regarding Zatanna Solo Film also popped up. Robert Pattinson’s Batman is also under-development which is directed by Matt Reeves.

Michael Keaton is also going to reprise his role as The Batman in the DCEU. He is going to play the Flashpoint Batman in the Flash’s Solo movie. It is set to release in late 2022’s.

There are now three versions of the Batman and three different actors playing them. Ben Affleck appeared as the Caped Crusader in the BatmanVSuperman by Zack Synder back in 2016. In 2017, he appeared in the sequel film Justice League by Zack Synder. However, after the Justice League, he retired from his role. Affleck’s marriage ended in 2018, and he started to drink a lot after this. This was the main reason why Ben Affleck left this role. Recently, rumors popped up that he has signed a contract and will be returning as Batman for more Synder projects. For now, Justice League Snyder Cut is releasing next year which will cover up the missing scenes in the movie.

Batman Beyond

Shortly after the Michael Keaton rumors, Live-action “Batman Beyond” was also reported. Originally it was an animated series by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett in 1999. There is no official confirmation regarding the Batman Beyond project. We have already heard that Flashpoint will introduce Terry McGinnis into the DCEU. In Flashpoint, Flash travels back in time to save his mother from getting murdered. However, there are consequences of altering something in the past. He ends up creating an alternate reality in which his mother is alive and Michael Keaton is the Batman. In the animated series, Bruce Wayne was declared dead in the Flashpoint but the movie is going to be different.

Johnny Depp To Play Joker

Pirates of the Caribbean star is eyed for the role of Joker in the live-action movie. Johnny Depp is a versatile actor. He played the role of Captain Jack Sparrow and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor. However, things took a turn in his life when his ex-wife Amber Heard filed a case against him that he used to physically abuse her. In 2017, Depp and Amber got divorced and he filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife. Disney is also working on Pirates of the Caribbean remake starring Margot Robbie. However, fans are demanding the return of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack.

Johnny Depp also appeared in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He is also returning in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3.

At first, rumors suggested that Johnny Depp was being eyed for the Matt Reeves Batman but it was cleared.
