Release Date, Time, and Full Line-up of PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2023 Games – A Gaming and Entertainment Overview

PlayStation Plus enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Extra and Premium games set to debut in July 2023. The upcoming wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games is scheduled for release on July 18, catering to both PS4 and PS5 users. This exciting collection includes a mix of recent releases and nostalgic classics from the beloved PSOne era, such as the first two installments of the legendary Twisted Metal franchise. Interestingly, this coincides with the forthcoming Twisted Metal TV show featuring esteemed actors like Will Arnett, Anthony Mackie, and Neve Campbell.

For Premium subscribers, the Twisted Metal games will be available alongside Gravity Crash Portable, a game that originally premiered on the PSP in 2009. On the other hand, the PS Plus Extra games boast an impressive Lineup headlined by the captivating co-op adventure known as It Takes Two. This extraordinary creation hails from the director of the equally brilliant Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and A Way Out.

The PS Plus Extra lineup also caters to gamers with diverse tastes. It features the intense third-person shooter Sniper Elite 5, the exhilarating off-road simulation Snowrunner, the thrilling zombie-apocalypse epic World War Z, the immersive action RPG The Ascent, and the beloved fan-favorite undertale. When describing Undertale, it highlights the game’s unique RPG world, intriguing characters, and emphasizes that violence isn’t the only solution. Players can choose to interact with engaging creatures like slimes, knights, and even keep their secrets. Alternatively, they can revel in the destruction of their enemies. Undertale, released in 2015, garnered numerous accolades for its innovative combat mechanics and captivating storytelling.

Furthermore, July’s PS Plus Extra collection adds more excitement with titles like Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Dysmantle, Circus Electrique, Dynasty Warriors 9, and Samurai Warriors 5. In addition to these thrilling options, family-friendly games like SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom and My Little Pony make their appearance, catering to all age groups. Racing enthusiasts can also enjoy adrenaline-fueled experiences with games like Fast and Furious and Monster Jam Steel Titans.

Interestingly, this lineup arrives just 24 hours after Microsoft’s announcement to revamp its monthly subscription service. The company plans to retire Xbox Gold and introduce a new service called Xbox Game Pass Core. This upgraded offering will grant subscribers access to a captivating library of over 25 games, including popular titles like Among Us, Dishonored, Doom Eternal, Fallout 76, Halo 5, and Hellblade. Moreover, new titles will be added to the collection 2-3 times annually. Xbox Game Pass Core also provides the ability to enjoy online multiplayer, similar to the previous Xbox Gold subscription.
