Limited Run Games is set to bring back the beloved Playstation game Tomba!, featuring the iconic pink-haired protagonist, to modern platforms. With the help of LRG’s Carbon Engine, this fun and vibrant platformer will be re-released on PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Originally released in 1998, Tomba! had limited commercial success but still managed to receive a sequel the following year. Recognized as a cult classic, the game was re-released on the PlayStation Network in 2011. Tomba! follows the adventures of a pink-haired jungle boy named Tomba as he embarks on a quest to retrieve a family heirloom from a villainous race of humanoid pigs.

Limited Run’s announcement includes plans for both physical and digital releases of the game. Fans can expect improvements in the audio department, as the remake will feature a brand new soundtrack composed by the renowned Fujita Harumi.
