At the start of this year, Digital Extremes started a new weekly show called “Devshorts”. This new weekly show is aimed at keeping the Warframe and Soulframe communities up to date with what they are working on. This show premiers every Tuesday, with CEO of Digital Extremes Steve Sinclair and Creative Director Rebecca Ford. It also only runs for fifteen minutes on the dot, and they just wrapped up with the twelth episode today. Here is everything they talked about!
Devshorts 12 Breakdown for Warframe
This weeks Devshorts started off a little crazy, as when you open the video Steve will be wearing a pink cowboy. While Rebecca is in more official attire, but the news could not have been a more interesting and equally crazy batch:
- Protea Prime and her Prime weapons, Velox and Okina Prime are coming soon! Stay tuned for more updates this week.
- Devstream 179 will air on April 26 at 2 p.m. ET via the official Warframe YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok channels. It will feature new updates for Day One of TennoCon 2024, another sneak peek at Warframe: 1999, and the latest on Jade Shadows.
- Soulframe’s early pre-alpha closed testing is ramping up invites and promises to begin letting in around 2,000 players a week starting next week. This is to celebrate the game hitting its next content development milestone adding in new regions to explore and the Fey Class teased at PAX East last month.
- Rebecca and Steve went a bit viral yesterday over the discussion of “best girl” in Honkai StarRail, so the game itself decided to weigh in. While this is usually grounds for a collaboration of some kind. Do not take this as official news of an event happening, but it is very funny!
