PAX East 2024 is finally here. The Lords from the Iron Lords Podcast and LOGNET are live once again on the show floor. One of the many games being previewed on the show floor this year is Wild Woods from developer Octofox Games.

Wild Woods – PAX East 2024

This co-op focused action title has the player play as a cat (or red panda), defending a moving cart from dangerous threats. Adding additional layers to the experience, is a day/night system where you need to keep your cart’s flame alive. You do this through collecting wood from trees you can chop down along the path.

In addition, the game features a healing system where you use plants collected from fallen trees. These, like the wood, are a resource as well. The gameplay balance is built on teamwork across local or online co-op, as everyone must work together to get through a dangerous night.
