PAX East 2024 is finally here. The lords from the Iron Lords Podcast and LOGNET are live once again on the show floor. One of the many games being previewed on the show floor this year is comic book-style survival rogue-like FPS, Skopje.

Checking Out Skopje at the Pax East 2024 Show Floor

The lords sat down with Chris from developer Dark-1 to discuss their upcoming title Skopje (pronounced Skopia).

The game takes place in 1962 following a massive earthquake that destroyed most cities on the earth. The earthquake was a result of a science experiment gone wrong. Now some of the scientists have taken ruling over humanity into their own hands as they try to recreate mankind in their own visions.

Built on the Unity engine, Skopje is an FPS with rogue-like run mechanics. You have seven days to prevent the city from getting nuked and stop the corruption from spreading. There are survival elements in the game and the time loop mechanic is reminiscent of Deathloop.

Survival elements will require that players eat, drink, and sleep. The lack of sleep will cause the screen to blur up, so rest up well. While thirst will slow down your running speed.

There will be around 20 weapon variants, including melee weapons as well. In addition, Skopje also features a crafting system, which is important for survival. The game is gory, so players can expect some limb dismemberment.

The game will also feature up to 4 player co-op and will feature different zone bosses for you to take out.
