From an idea to a website: a list of applications to speed up your company creation

Lately, the development of Artificial Intelligence applications has been booming as never before. From text-to-text, text-to-image, text-to-code, image-to-image, you name it.

As for creating brands, companies can now rely on several AI solutions to generate the catchy name they have been looking for. Or reduce costs for logo creation and marketing. Website? No need to waste time with UX/UI.

Let’s explore 7 AI alternatives that can speed up the very first steps of creating a company.

1 — Get Instructions

Recently I stumbled on this news, about a Portuguese entrepreneur that created a company by starting with a prompt on ChatGPT. He generated more than 100k euros in funding, in one single month.

This is just one of many remarkable stories of people leveraging their ideas with the help of ChatGPT and AI.

If they can, why shouldn’t I? ChatGPT is the starting point, so that’s where I tackled first, with one single prompt.

ChatGPT

Hi chat, I want to make a company to sell beanies. I would like to give them a tribal look, but still keep them elegant and trendy. What are the steps to open a company based on this information?

These are the highlighted points of the output:

Research and Planning

• Conduct market research to understand the demand for beanies and identify your target audience.
• Develop a business plan that outlines your company’s goals, strategies, target market, pricing, and financial projections.

Legal Considerations

2 — Research and Planning

Concerning market research, there are several ways of proceeding, such as hiring an expert or using paid platforms with embedded AI solutions. One good platform that provides rich tools for market research is Poll The People, powered by OpenAI.

Google Trends

For the sake of this report, I took the most straightforward path and used a well-known solution: Google Trends.

I searched for beanies, and got the results for the last 90 days. It shows the interest in the term beanies over time and by region. In addition, I got the Related queries:

With the latter information, I get an idea of where to focus the views of my company at the very start (Australia sounds great!), and what kind of beanies people are most interested in.

Ideamaster

When it comes to develop a Business Plan, there’s an AI platform that can generate one in just 30 seconds.

Ideamaster, GPT-3 based, takes the type of industry and product, and generates a Business plan just like the one below:

Since it only takes two inputs (industry and product type), the output of Ideamaster is overly generalized. I would rather have something more focused on my product. Playing with ChatGPT directly could get me better results than Ideamaster, but it still serves as a base idea.

3 — Branding and Product Development

Namelix

To create a distinctive brand, I used Namelix. This app allows to creation a short, brandable business name using Artificial Intelligence.

First, I had to select some keywords that define my business.

Then I picked the style.

I chose the randomness.

And finally, I added some extra information about the brand.

These were the first results.

After some scrolling, I found the name I was looking for.

When I click on the desired name, it automatically takes me to another AI platform, this time, one that allowed me to choose the logo: Brandmark.

Brandmark

I prefer to choose the name and move to the Brandmark website, instead of doing everything on Namelix, because it allows me to fine-tune the logo.

I started by specifying my brand’s name.

Next, I chose some keywords that define my brand.

Lastly, the colour style.

And from an output of several logos, I chose the one below.

In this section, you can edit the logo, add a slogan, add/change/remove icons and more. Note that if you want to download the logo in high quality, you need to buy it.

4 — Establish an Online Presence

Durable

With a logo in hand and a general concept of the company, I was ready to make a simple website. Durable builds a website in less than 1 minute.

All I needed was to select a business type and input my brand’s name.

After clicking Next, I waited for a couple of seconds. And Durable presented me with a basic but functional website. With several sections, images and text. All these elements can be customized, but don’t expect advanced editing features.

In addition, I changed the About section with the help of ChatGPT.

And added images to showcase the different available beanies.

Since I’m using the free version, I’m not allowed to have a public domain to share the full website.

The website is the signature of the brand, a gateway to sell the products and share engaging content. But social networks can enrich the brand’s image and help to reach more people.

Lumen5

To create a promotional video about the brand, I used Lumen5. Later on, I can use this video to share on LinkedIn, Instagram and other social networks.

First I had to create an account on Lumen5. Then I picked a template among the ones provided.

After selecting the template there are three options to create the video.

I picked the AI-enabled option, which converts text into video, and I used the text of the website’s About section to generate the video.

Lumen5 generated several sections with a portion of the text and images or videos related to the topics. I did minor changes, such as changing some images, the music and pieces of text, but it didn’t take me more than 10 minutes to have the result below.

📌Bentrib is not an actual brand, it was only made for the purpose of this article. But it serves as an example of how easy it gets to leverage a company with AI-enabled solutions. There are some platforms that are better than others, and many rely on ChatGPT API to deliver their own solutions. But they definitely can reduce costs and time, at least at the very beginning.
