Super Dragon Ball Heroes continues with new adventures for Goku and Vegeta, although there’s no telling how much we have to wait for the return of the Dragon Ball Super anime on the big screens. Like any pure-blooded Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta are constantly looking for new challenges and ways to become stronger, and we can convince ourselves about that once again in Super Dragon Ball Heroes. 

Goku and Vegeta had to fuse once again into Vegito, as Super Fu is an opponent a little too strong to be taken down so easily. Pumped up at Super Saiyan Blue level, Vegito shows to the guy who’s boss:

The Super Saiyan Blue transformation remains a standard for the famous Dragon Ball legacy, replacing the basic Super Saiyan form with gold hair. The older transformation pales completely by comparison with what the Super Saiyan Blue has to offer. This upsets a lot of Dragon Ball fans, but there’s hope that things will turn their way someday.

Linking Dragon Ball Super to Dragon Ball Z isn’t impossible

The story of the Dragon Ball Super anime is positioned somewhere near the end of Dragon Ball Z. It’s obvious that at this moment, the stories of the two shows cannot possibly match with each other. But since the first anime will return someday on the screens, there’s no telling how the story can evolve. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan could lose their enormous power boost gathered after the battles with Jiren, Toppo, and so on. They could be downgraded back to the basic Super Saiyan form, which means that Dragon Ball Super could practically be linked to Dragon Ball Z.
