A new set of leaked Benchmarks for NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 3050 Ti for mobile show performance on par with the RTX 2060.
The benchmarks, uncovered by Notebookcheck, show both the RTX 3050 Ti and the slower 3050 in action, with both Gaming and synthetic benchmarks. Note that these benchmarks are for the mobile variant of the cards, with the desktop version potentially including more performance and power.
In gaming, the RTX 3050 Ti beats all other GPUs in the same tier, and even punches above its weight class by beating the last-gen RTX 2060. This is quite impressive, as it makes the 3050 Ti stand in a league of its own!
The base 3050 also does well enough, but falls short of the 1660 Ti.
In 3DMark Timespy both GPUs fall below the RTX 2060 and 1660 Ti. We suspect this might be because of lower VRAM (4 GB) or TGP.
Either way, the RTX 3050 lineup should be revealed quite soon. The new lineup will bring ray tracing to 50 series cards for the first time, and Turing’s 2nd-gen ray tracing should provide for a decent 1080p gaming experience with RTX On.
