As every day goes by, it seems components are getting harder to find. Even when you have the budget, you’re gonna be hard-pressed to find the right parts for your ultimate 4K Gaming PC. But worry not, we have got you covered with our recommendations for the best gaming performance under 1.5 Lakh.

Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING X570 PLUS

The X570 boards are the best you can get. While there are other boards more “premium” boards with custom designs and RGB, functionally they’re all the same. The ASUS TUF X570 has everything you need along with some of the best VRM cooling on the market.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

• Base Clock: 3.7 GHz
• Boost Clock: 4.6 GHz
• TDP: 65W

Although it’s been a while since the Ryzen 5000 Series processors have been out, it’s still difficult to get a hold of them. The 5600X I’ve linked is still around 5-6K overpriced than the MRP, but is still superior to the 3700X when it comes to gaming. With about 15-20% average gain in gaming performance at the same price as the 3700X, I think it’s worth overpaying for this one.

Memory: G.SKILL Sniper X 2x8GB

To get the best gaming performance out of the 3600X, we have paired it with a G.SKILL SniperX 2x8GB kit. For gaming, 16GB is the sweet spot and anything above that won’t offer a significant boost in performance, at least until heavy ports of next-gen console games arrive.

Graphics Card: Zotac RTX 3070 8GB OC

It’s been months since the RTX 30 series have released but it’s still damn near impossible to get the new cards at their selling price. Basically, the RTX 3070s are selling at the price of 3080s and so on. So unless you can spend around 1 Lakh INR on a GPU, a 3070 is gonna be your best bet for the ultimate 4K gaming PC when it comes to gaming.

That said, the RTX 3070 is one of the best GPUs you can get. While they won’t quite beat the RTX 2080 Tis when it comes to pure performance; for gaming, the RTX 30 Series offer a huge step because of the vastly improved DLSS performance. Dropping the resolution down to 1/8th or even 1/16th, you’d be hard-pressed to find the differences between upscaled and native footage. With more upcoming games are expected to be releasing with DLSS support, the 30 Series cards are gonna perform better as time goes on.

The Corsair RM 650 is a fully modular Power Supply with a 10-year warranty. I can personally vouch for this unit. I have a 7-year-old one and it still functions like new. For this build, 650 W is more than sufficient.

The Gigabyte Aorus is one of the fastest storage solutions that you can buy as a consumer. PCIe 4.0 brings with it insane levels of performance. You can rest assured that your games are going to load quick. While it is admittedly almost twice as expensive as a Gen 3 SSD, the performance benefits when you have the budget is worth it. With current games, you will not notice a huge difference. But with time, the performance gap is only going to widen. And given that we literally cannot spend more on the GPU (right now), why not have some true next-gen storage instead? Spending more on PCIe 4.0 drives are not worth it right now (we tried with the best SSD on the market), so the Aorus M.2 SSD makes sense.

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C

While cases are a personal preference, the Fractal Design Meshify deserves a shoutout. It has excellent cooling, a ridiculous amount of space for a mid-tower case and looks damn good. It is also very easy to build inside and cable management is a breeze.

The sum total of all the components comes out to just over 1.5 Lakh INR. If you have a slightly lesser budget, ditch the case and the storage and get a cheaper alternative as either won’t change performance drastically. Then is it still the ultimate 4K PC for gaming? Yes. Given that you need to spend another 40-50K extra for a 3080, this is the best that you can build as of now. Hopefully the coming month will see a drop in the prices. Till then, stay tuned.
