A lucky winner of NVIDIA’s giveaway for the RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is auctioning his prize on eBay for bids in excess of US$4,200. Initial bidding started at US$2,500 (nearly two times the regular price of an RTX 2080 Ti), but things have, of course, escalated.

The RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is a rare, commemorative variant of the RTX 2080 Ti with only 200 models having been made. With Nvidia giving away 77 of them, we’ll likely see other prize winners put their Cyberpunk-themed RTX 2080 Tis up for auction as well. Considering how much hype CDProjekt Red (recently listed as the most valuable company in Poland) has managed to creat around Cyberpunk 2077, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the rare, collectible RTX 2080 Ti variants sell for even higher in the months to come.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to make extensive use of NVIDIA’s RTX ray-tracing technology. It’ll be interesting to see how the game runs with RTX enabled on these Cyberpunk-themed graphics cards.
