According to media reports, ‘Salaar’ will earn around Rs 800 crore before its release. The manufacturer earns Rs.80 crore from selling digital, theatrical, satellite, and music rights. The cost of the rights abroad is said to be around Rs 80 billion. The manufacturer will earn Rs.500 crore from selling the rights to publish across the country, of which about Rs.200 crore will be received from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

“Sarala” is a pan-Indian film that will be released in Tamil and Kannada as well as Hindi. $220 million will come solely from selling theatrical rights in various languages. The great success of “KGF 2” has also raised the costs for the makers of “Salaar”, and the benefits are clear for them. Digital rights to “Salaar” sold for $200 million, according to a tracktollywood.com report, but all those numbers also depend on the film’s box office success. 

‘Salaar’ will be released on September 28, 2023, 21 days after Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’. At the box office, ‘Salaar’ will go head to head with Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Vaccine War’.
