A GitHub user “hacked” the remote control of robotic dogs with rifles. To infiltrate the system, he used a Tamagotchi hacker multi-tool.
According to the SecurityLab portal, a GitHub user with the nickname MAVProxyUse found a vulnerability in the remote administration system of the HangZhou YuShu Technology Go1 series robotic dog. He discovered that armed pets have a remote switch that is attached to the switchboard. It provides power to various systems of the robot and operates at a frequency of 433 MHz.
Thanks to the obtained data, MAVProxyUse was able to gain access to the robot using the Flipper Zero Tamagotchi hacker multi-tool. He copied the signal and disabled the armed robops.
The Flipper Zero hacker device is capable of clogging and drying radio channels, opening some types of electronic locks and controlling various types of household appliances.
