The average carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere has since the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii began measuring the average carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere in 1958 measured at over 420 ppm. This is an increase from 419.13 during the same period last year and an increase from 375.93 if you compare how the level was 20 years ago.

The carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere is usually pointed out as one of the biggest reasons for climate change on earth. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, levels are rising faster and faster, which is undeniable.
