TOTS Vote for the Premier League Team – This is how voting works

As with the community team, EA Sports is again providing a list of around 100 of the best players from the English Premier League on a corresponding website for the Premier League TOTS Vote, from which you can choose your favorites for the PL TOTS. Players who have already been nominated for the Community Team can also be re-listed for voting in the Premier League TOTS.

The corresponding vote for the Premier League TOTS is not yet available, we will add the link as soon as EA Sports activates the page.

When does the FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS Vote start and end?

The FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS Vote starts on Friday 22 April 2022 at 19:00 CEST. You then have three days to cast your vote. The FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS Vote ends on April 25, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS will then be released on May 6, 2022.

How many players make the Premier League Team of the Season?

The Premier League is one of the big leagues and so at the end of the voting the 15 players with the most votes go into the PL TOTS. Typically, the team consists of 1 goalkeeper, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 4 forwards, but this formation is not set in stone. For example, last year there were 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 6 midfielders and 4 forwards. Apart from that, a few more players will be added via SBCs and Objectives (last year there were three).

Also for the Premier League TOTS only players who have performed well in the English Premier League throughout the 2021/22 season and have not received more than one performance-based special card can be fielded. Accordingly, top stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, Son Heung-Min or Kevin De Bruyne would not be considered.

However, this rule seems to be more of a guideline, because EA Sports does not always stick to it itself!
